Russ
Rose — Clinician In 2009, Russ Rose led his Penn State women's volleyball team to their 3rd consecutive NCAA National Championship, and their 13th Big 10 Championship. In 1999, Penn State won their first NCAA National Championship, and in '97 and '98, Rose also directed his team to second place national finishes. He has been the volleyball coach for 31 years at Penn State where he has directed the women to 30 consecutive top-twenty finishes. In 1993 Rose, the National Coach of the Year, led Penn State to their first Final Four appearance resulting in a second place national finish. In 1994 Penn State was the only team to return to the Final Four where they finished third nationally. He was also selected the 1990, 1997, 1999, 2007 and 2008 National Coach of the Year and was recognized as the 1999 USOC National Volleyball Coach of the Year. In 2007, Rose was inducted into the AVCA Hall of Fame. His Penn State team has been the highest ranked Eastern team for the past 30 seasons, and have won the Big Ten Championship 13 out of the 19 years they have competed in the conference. They finished the 2002 season second in the Big 10, and have never finished lower than 3rd since joining the Big 10 Conference. Under Rose's direction, Penn State has produced at least one All-American in 30 of 31 seasons, including 6 on the 2008 National Championship team. A nineteen-time selection as Conference Coach of the Year and a twelve-time selection as Mideast Region Coach of the Year, Rose has led the United States men and women to silver and bronze medals in international competition. He coached in two Olympic Sport Festivals and has assisted with the United States Men's and Women's National Teams. In the summer of 2002, Coach Rose assisted the US Men's team in Italy at the Super 5 tournament, and assisted the team again at the Four Nations Tournament in Germany in 2008. In 2005, Rose was honored with the USA All-Time Great Coach Award. |

Larry Bock — Site Coordinator In 2004, Juniata won its first ever Division III National Championship and they won their 2nd National Championship in 2006. Larry Bock has been the women's volleyball coach at Juniata for thirty-three years. Juniata has won 29 Middle Atlantic Championships, advanced to the Division III Final Four 23 times and finished second in the nation in 1993, 1996, 1997, 2005 and 2009. He was honored by his peers by being selected “National Coach of the Year” in 1984, 1989, 1993, 2004 and 2006 and inducted into the AVCA Hall of Fame in 2004. |

Lori Barberich Rose — Camp Director Lori Rose, a three-time collegiate All-American from Penn State, has directed the Volleyball Express camps for the past 24 years. |

|
The
camp staff will consist of Penn State players and coaches who will
be joined by other top collegiate and high school coaches as well as
experienced
collegiate players. The staff will serve as dormitory counselors, while
Juniata College will provide campus security. |
